A new oil painting takes shape, caught here at its very first stage: a charcoal underdrawing on linen, the arrangement of peaches and cherries just beginning to emerge. Over the coming weeks it will be built in layers of oil paint until it becomes a finished, framed original. One of my larger works on linen, shared as a first look while it is still in the making. Join the studio list to be the first to know when it is ready.
